These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the My Store website and the purchase of products from My Store ("we", "us", "our"), operated by Zolie Raimondi in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Products
My Store sells handcrafted, fresh protein ball snacks made in small batches in Brampton, Ontario. All products are made to order and are perishable. Products are intended for consumption by adults and children without known allergies to the listed ingredients.
- All products are made in a facility that handles common allergens including dairy, eggs, and seeds
- Ingredient lists and nutritional information are provided on each product page and on packaging
- Product availability is subject to change based on ingredient availability and batch scheduling
2. Pricing and Payment
All prices are displayed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Applicable Ontario HST (13%) is added at checkout.
Payments are processed securely by Adyen N.V., a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We accept major credit and debit cards. By completing a purchase, you authorize Adyen to charge the stated amount to your payment method.
We reserve the right to cancel an order if a pricing error occurs. In such cases, you will be notified and fully refunded.
3. Pickup and Delivery
Local Pickup
- Pickup orders are available at our Brampton location. The full address and buzzer code are sent by email or text on the day of pickup.
- Pickup window: 4:30 PM – 5:00 PM (unless otherwise confirmed)
- Orders held refrigerated for up to 24 hours. After that, unclaimed orders may be discarded and are not eligible for refund.
Local Delivery
- Local delivery is available in the Brampton area for eligible order sizes (6-serving pouches or larger)
- Delivery windows are confirmed by email or text on the day of delivery
- We are not responsible for delays caused by factors outside our control (weather, traffic, access issues)
4. Subscriptions
My Store offers recurring subscription plans with discounts of 10–15% depending on frequency. By subscribing, you agree to:
- Automatic recurring charges to your payment method at the selected frequency (weekly, every 2 weeks, or monthly)
- Receipt of a reminder email before each renewal
- The ability to pause or cancel your subscription at any time by emailing hello@balancebitez.com
Cancellation requests must be received at least 48 hours before the next scheduled renewal to avoid being charged for that period. Subscriptions cancelled after the renewal date will not be refunded for that cycle but will not renew again.
5. Refunds and Returns
Because our products are fresh and perishable, we cannot accept returns. However, we stand behind our quality:
- Quality issues (wrong product, damaged packaging, spoiled on arrival): contact us within 24 hours of receipt with a photo and we will replace the order or issue a full refund
- Order errors on our part: fully replaced or refunded at our expense
- Customer order errors (wrong flavour selected, address error): we will do our best to accommodate but cannot guarantee a refund
- No-shows for pickup: orders not collected within 24 hours are forfeited without refund
Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method via Adyen.
6. Food Safety
My Store products are made fresh and must be stored refrigerated at all times. We recommend:
- Keep refrigerated at all times (do not leave at room temperature for more than 2 hours)
- Consume within 7 days of the packaged-on date shown on your order
- Remove from refrigerator 20–30 minutes before eating for best texture
We are not liable for illness or injury resulting from improper storage or handling of products after delivery.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, product names, and recipes — is the property of My Store and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Ontario and Canadian law, My Store's liability for any claim arising from a product purchase is limited to the purchase price of that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when changes were last made.
